Our 1996 Disneyland Adventure


        For Natalie's birthday (October 5th) she wanted to take the children to Disneyland. With this being the final season of the Main Street Electrical Parade, she wanted the kids to experience the beauty and wonder of all those floats full of lights. Unfortunately, so did everyone else in the world. The crowds were so large that people were lining up 2 hours in advance for the electrical parade, making it impossible for use to actually see it (so we simple bought the video). In fact, it was so crowded that on the secondary, Disneyland actually closed entry to new visitors by 12:00 noon. Their electric billboards read, "Disneyland closed. Fill to capacity". As you can imagine, this was a bit overwhelming for Natalie and I. Regardless, Samantha and Kristina had a grand time, especially when they got to meet Minnie Mouse (she out ranked Micky in the "I want to see..." category). Due to the overcrowding, Natalie and I didn't get to ride many things. But the children got to ride just about everything available to them.
