Disneyland's AdventureLand

They should have renamed this place "ZooLand". This part of Disneyland sports the relatively new Indiana Jones Adventure. The lines for this attraction practically closed off AdventureLand to any kind of foot traffic, let alone getting a stroller through. We completely gave up on even trying to see this attraction (it was Natalie and Andrew only).

For some time now, the kids have been listening to the Best of Disney (vol 1,2,3) and on it is the famous Tiki-Tiki room song. Well, once they learned that The Tiki-Tiki room was in AdventureLand, there was no stoppong them. In fact its the very first attraction as you enter AdventureLand. Once again we got to experience peace and quite as they first let us into a nicely chaded courtyard to wait for the next showing. Once inside, its music, AC, and darkness. You could almost go to sleep. Not the kids of course. They were singing along with the music having a wonderful time.

Next we took the Jungle Cruise. After walking in line for what must have been an hour, we finally arrived at the boat. Wouldn't you know it, Kristina decides she needs to use the bathroom right away. So Daddy got them out of line and let Samantha and Mommy go on. The attendants at Disneyland being the understanding people they are, allowed Kristina and Daddy to cut to the head of the line was Kristina's business had been completed. Like the Samantha and Mommy, Kristina and Daddy had a fun adventure seeing all the animals along the river.

After that we'd decided we'd had enough of the crowds and went on our way.
