Singapore's Boat and Clarke Quay

There is simply nowhere else to start for evening entertainment in Singapore but where the Singaporeans go, and the area around Boat and Clarke Quay is where it happens. Boat Quay affords the choice of simply wandering along until you find a bar, club or restaurant that is to taste.

My personal favorite was The Penny Black - Victorian London Pub where I had several Strong Bow ciders with a large plate of Yorkshire Pudding with beef/onion gravy. Yummmmm!

Clarke Quay is quieter but has some very chic wine bars. This area is also fantastic during the day for eating as the pathways between the buildings are filled with kiosk style carts offering all kinds of delicacies.
