Day 2 : Sunday

This day started dying for some coffee and breakfast to ease my quesy stomach (lastnight's margaritas). After that I decided to see about setting up some activites during my stay. Using the club's services, I planned out the following events:

          Monday
          Deep Sea Fishing 7am - 2pm
Spending an exciting day fishing the outlying Pacific waters. Your Capitan (Sr. Conejo or Rabbit in english) and his crew are expert seamen of the sourrounding waters. The fisherman looking to "reel in a big-one" can try their hand at catching marlin or sailfish. While small-game fishing, you might reel in red snapper, bonita or a yellowfin.

          Tuesday
          Horseback Riding 10am - 1pm
For a change of pace, come horse-around with us! Be a caballos for a day. Ride through tropical plantations, to breathtakingly beautiful Playa Larga where you will have time for a run in the beach and a refreshing drink! You'll have plenty of free time for an optional lunch or just swing on a hammock.

          Golf 3pm
The Campo De Golf Ixtapa, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is on a wildlife preserve that runs from a coconut plantation to the beach.

          Wednesday
          Countryside Tour 11am - 4pm
This fascinating tour will take you off the beaten track into the real Mexico! You will visit a tropical fruit plantaion, the small town of Coacoyul and a local tile factory to get you acquianted with our culture. Then it is on to the tranquil fishing village of Barra de Potosi, where you will have time for a seafood lunch (hope there's chicken!).delicious An unforgettable way to experience your Mexican vacation.

          Mexican Fiesta 7pm - Passout
Don't miss this fun-filled evening of great food and folkloric entertainment. Savour the authentic Mexican specialties from the dinner buffet while being serenaded by mariachis. Have your camera ready for the colorful native costumes and dancing of the Mexican Folkloric Ballet that will take you on a tour through the states of Mexico. All of this plus games, prizes and open bar are included.

          Thursday
          Golf 3pm
The Campo De Golf Ixtapa, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is on a wildlife preserve that runs from a coconut plantation to the beach.

I spent pretty much the rest of this day relaxing in my room. The weather was too hot for me and since I didn't have anything planned for this day, I started these web pages and watched a lot of TV. For dinner I decided to go try a place called El Inferno y La Gloria. I had chicken enchiladas with ranchero sauce, rice and beans. Delicious!

The days a head would prove to be a lot more fun.

        Continue on to Day 3?
